Attention all Pluckin’ Strummers members and all other ukulele enthusiasts!
Victoria Vox will be at our next meeting! She will be teaching a workshop during the second half of the meeting starting at 11:00 am.
Members need only pay their normal $5 dues plus an additional $5 for the workshop. The fee for non-members is $15.
Last year Victoria did a fantastic job and this workshop will be one not to miss.
Later that same Saturday in the early evening one of our members, Sue Olson, will be hosting a house concert in North Glendale where Victoria Vox will delight us with a performance. There’s a Facebook event page with an email address to RSVP. Search “Victoria Vox house concert” on Facebook. Don’t hesitate because seating will be limited and you won’t want to miss this spectacular and intimate concert by the delightful and extremely talented Victoria Vox.

9:30 – Set up time. Please feel free to ask questions, make suggestions, recommend songs, schedule announcements, show me your new ukuleles or materials, and anything else I might have missed. I just added a new ukulele to my ever-growing collection. A brand new Kamaka Tenor. She’s a beauty!
10:00 – Round One!
Since this is a special meeting with a Victoria Vox workshop I think we’ll keep things simple. There will be a selection of our arrangements available at the meeting. Take a little time to look at book two, the blue one, and pick a favorite song or two for quick picks.
10:45 – Break Time
11:00 – Round Two
Victoria Vox Ukulele Workshop
She will use the remaining time of our meeting to teach us something terrific.
12:15 – As you know we must exit the church promptly by 12:20. Any further meet and greet and merchandise purchases with Victoria can continue outside in front of the church. Thanks.
